Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that promotes stress reduction, relaxation, and healing through the channeling of universal life force energy. The term "Reiki" comes from two Japanese words: "Rei," meaning "universal," and "Ki," meaning "life energy." This practice involves transferring energy from the practitioner's hands to the recipient's body to enhance the body's natural ability to heal itself.

Reiki is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's life force energy is low, they are more likely to get sick or feel stressed. If it is high, they are more capable of being happy and healthy.

We can heal ourselves and others.

No prior experience or special skills are needed to attend a Reiki Level 1 class. The class is designed for beginners and provides all the foundational knowledge and techniques required to practice Reiki. The only requirement is an openness to learning and a willingness to engage with the material.

We'll explore Reiki's history and philosophy, the five Reiki principles, traditional energy concepts and chakras, hand positions, and foundational techniques for practicing Reiki on yourself and others.

You'll also learn about consent, ethics, and responsible Reiki practice.

The day includes guided exercises, hands-on practice, and your Reiki Level One attunement.

An attunement is a traditional part of Reiki training, facilitated by a Reiki Master Teacher.

Within Reiki traditions, it marks an initiation into the practice and is considered an important part of learning to work with Reiki energy.

I'll explain the process beforehand so you know what to expect. Each person's experience is personal, and there's no particular sensation or response you're required to have.

Your Standard registration includes:

• One full day of in-person instruction, from 8 AM to 6 PM Central

• Your Reiki Level One attunement

• Guided practice and hands-on learning

• A Reiki Level One training manual and learning materials

• Lunch

• Your Reiki Level One certificate upon successful completion

The class is limited to seven Standard participants, with three additional places reserved for VIP students.

Both options include the same Reiki Level One certification training and attunement.

Standard — $197: Everything you need to participate in the one-day certification experience.

VIP — $497: The full certification experience plus a private 90-minute Reiki session before training, a private 60-minute integration mentorship session afterward, 30 days of question support by within agreed boundaries, personalized practice feedback, and additional gift items.

VIP does not provide a different or higher level of Reiki certification. There are three VIP places available.

This is an in-person experience held at a private location in Reynolds Station, Kentucky.

Bring comfortable clothing, something to write with if you enjoy taking your own notes, and anything that helps you feel comfortable during a full day of learning.

Your training materials and lunch are provided.

Yes. Upon successful completion of the training, you'll receive a Usui Reiki Level One certificate from Cody Morris, Reiki Master Teacher.

This is the foundational level of Reiki education. If you'd like to continue your studies, Reiki Level Two is a separate training with its own enrollment requirements.

Reiki certification is not a medical or mental health professional license.

You may cancel your registration and receive a full refund when your cancellation is received at least 48 hours before the class begins.

For the November 14 training, that means your cancellation must be received by Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 8 AM Central Time.
